Edukasi Tanaman Obat Pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar Melalui Booklet TOGA

Abstract

Along with the development of modern times, changes in the environment, communication and information from outside as well as an instantaneous mindset cause cultural values that have been growing and developing in the community to develop, but on the other hand knowledge of utilization and how to manage medicinal plants little by little began to experience a shift in interest among the younger generation. To prevent this, the younger generation is expected to increase knowledge about medicinal plants so that traditional medicine can be disseminated among the next generation. The subjects of the service are students of SD Inpres Kassi-kassi located in Rappocici District, Makassar City. The purpose of this activity is to increase children's knowledge related to medicinal plants in Indonesia. The introduction of medicinal plants in this activity uses TOGA Booklet media. Based on observations, students of SD Inpres Kassi-kassi were enthusiastic in learning about Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) as seen from the excellent scores of group discussion assignments. The use of Booklets in this activity is able to attract children's interest in learning medicinal plants.
