Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of the application of the Two Stay Two Stray type cooperative learning model on Natural Science (Science) learning outcomes in elementary school students. Using the method of systematic literature review, this study analyzed a number of relevant studies to summarize key findings. The results indicate that the application of the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model consistently has a positive impact on science learning achievement at the elementary level. The Two Stay Two Stray approach has proven effective in enhancing concept understanding, stimulating students' active involvement in group discussions, and strengthening collaborative skills. The literature results also highlight the potential of this model to increase student motivation through more participatory and interactive learning experiences. The researchers highlight improved understanding of science concepts, critical thinking skills, and student learning motivation as a result of using this model. In addition, this learning model encourages active interaction between students, enriches group discussions, and promotes an inclusive learning atmosphere. While these findings are encouraging, the study also acknowledges further expansion of research to understand outcome variability across contexts and identify additional factors influencing successful implementation of the Two Stay Two Stray model. Thus, this study makes an important contribution in understanding the effectiveness of the Two Stay Two Stray type cooperative learning model in improving science learning outcomes of elementary school students.
