The importance of improving social studies (Social Sciences) learning outcomes is a major concern in an effort to improve the quality of education. The Snowball Throwing learning model is an approach that involves active interaction between teacher and student, where knowledge or questions are thrown like snowballs from one student to another. The findings of this research can be the basis for the development of better education policies, providing recommendations to teachers and education stakeholders to consider the application of innovative learning models in an effort to improve the quality of social studies education. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review method to detail theories, related research results, and previous empirical findings that can support the application of this learning model. The articles obtained and used in this study were 5 national journal articles obtained from the Google Scholar database using the typeset.io/ application.
