PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR BAHASA INDONESIA MELALUI MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL PADA SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 2 ARUNGKEKE KABUPATEN JENEPONTO

Abstract
This research was conducted in class VII of SMP Negeri 2 Arungkeke, Jeneponto Regency, which aims to improve Indonesian language skills on the material of recognising feelings with audio-visual media of students VII of SMP Negeri 2 Arungkeke, Jeneponto Regency. The number of students in the study was 26 students consisting of 13 men and 13 women. This research uses Classroom Action Research Method applying audio visual media. The research was conducted in two cycles, planning implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection was carried out using test and non-test techniques. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the audio-visual learning model can singnificantly improve Indonesian language skills on the material of knowing feelings. This is based on data obtained by researchers in pre-cycle activities, the number of students who completed 7 people or 26.92%. While the results of the implementation of cycle I students who were complete or reached the KKM score were 12 people with a percentage value of 46.15%, then cycle II students who were classically complete were 23 people with a percentage value reaching 88.46%.54.
