ANALISIS MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA DI MUSIM PANEN RUMPUT LAUT DAN PADI (STUDI KASUS DI UPT SMP NEGERI 2 ARUNGKEKE)

Abstract

This study aims to 1) analyze in depth the development of This study aims to 1) To analyze in depth the motivation of students during the seaweed and rice harvest season at UPT SMP Negeri 2 Arungkeke. And 2) To analyze in depth the factors that also influence student motivation in the seaweed and rice harvest season at UPT SMP Negeri 2 Arungkeke. This study used a type of descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques with interview guidelines were shared with the subjects/informants of this study, namely Parents and Students of UPT SMP Negeri 2 Arungkeke, Jeneponto Regency.  The results of the research obtained are 1) The general description of student learning motivation at UPT SMP Negeri 2 Arungkeke shows that the motivation for students' desire to succeed is already his, to meet his learning needs and future goals, even though his time is still used to help parents during the seaweed and rice harvest season around the house. The form of appreciation given to students can increase their learning motivation. And 2) The general description of the factors that also affect student learning motivation at UPT SMP Negeri 2 Arungkeke shows that teacher motivation also determines the level of student motivation through the learning strategies and techniques provided as well as mentoring motivation in completing student work harvesting tasks at school, aspects of the student learning environment also determine the level of learning motivation, it is enough for students to be disturbed by their learning time in helping their parents. Similarly, aspects of students' self-efficacy also determine their learning motivation, even though the condition of the family environment during the harvest of seaweed and rice is sometimes disrupted by students' learning time. While the condition of the completeness of infrastructure facilities that have not been maximally used by students in learning, also affects their learning motivation.
