PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN POWERPOINT INTERAKTIF MELALUI SMART BOARD UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IX UPT SPF SMPN 29 MAKASSAR

Abstract
This research is a quasi-experimental research with a nonequivalent control group design. Data collection was carried out using motivational questionnaires and learning outcomes tests and then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using smart board-based interactive PowerPoint learning media on class IX students, analyze the effect of using smart board-based interactive PowerPoint learning media on increasing learning motivation for class IX students and analyze the effect of using smart board-based interactive PowerPoint learning media towards improving the learning outcomes of class IX students at UPT SPF SMPN 29 Makassar. The population in this study was all 249 class IX students at UPT SPF SMPN 29 Makassar for the 2023/2024 academic year who were divided into 7 classes, namely classes IX1, IX2, IX3, IX4, IX5, IX6, IX7. The sample for this research was class IX4 students as the control class and class IX6 students as the experimental class. The results of this research indicate that the use of Interactive PowerPoint media has an influence on increasing students' learning motivation in the Experimental class. This can be seen in the increase in the average motivation score for the experimental class which increased from 21.14 to 25.97 compared to the control class from 22.66 to 25.94. For learning outcomes, the average score of students' pretest results was 45.89 which increased to 67.77 after learning was carried out without using interactive PowerPoint media. Meanwhile in the Experimental class the learning outcomes obtained in the pretest were an average of 55.03 which increased to 91.69 after learning using interactive PowerPoint media was carried out.
