Abstract
This research demonstrates how the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model arouses the passion of students’ learning motivation on PPKn classes X IPS 1 subjects at State High School 20 Pangkep. The aim of this research is to raise the motivation to learn PPKn in students of class X IPS 1 using the Problem Based Learning method in State High School 20 Pangkep teaching year 2022/2023. This class action research consists of three cycles, each cycle consisting of stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques using observation. The method of data collection uses instruments in the form of observation sheets to students in the learning process. In the first cycle of the results of this study, the enthusiasm of student learning motivation reflected in student activity has increased considerably. From here it is seen that there are 34 students, 27 students who are active in the learning process. While 7 students who were inactive in the learning process with a percentage of student activity reached 75.7% of active students. Cycle II consists of 30 active students and 4 inactive students with a student activity percentage in cycle II learning of 88.6%. In Cycle III 33 active students and 1 inactive students with the percentage of student activity in Cycle II learning reached 94.67%..
