PENERAPAN MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE EXAMPLES NON EXAMPLES DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA

Abstract

 


This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the research subjects being Class VI students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Connect Jawa 3, Mamajang sub-district, Makassar City. who have not reached the KKM about the Solar System. The results of the pre-cycle carried out through teaching were carried out for Class VI UPT SPF SD Inpres Connect Java 3 students, Mamajang sub-district, Makassar City. It was known that of the 23 students, 7 (30%) students had completed the KKM, and 16 (70%) students had not yet reached the KKM. The research objective was to improve science learning outcomes about the solar system in Class VI UPT SPF SD Inpres Connect Java 3 students, Mamajang sub-district, Makassar City. by using cooperative learning model Example non Example type. This study uses the Kemmis and Mc Taggart (1986) model. The research stages are (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, (4) reflection. The research was conducted in 2 cycles and each cycle consisted of 1 action. The indicator of research success refers to KKM IPA Class VI SD Inpres Connect Jawa 3, Mamajang sub-district, Makassar City, the research is said to be successful if at least 90% of students have achieved KKM 70. The results showed that after implementing the actions, students' abilities in science subjects, especially in material the Solar System underwent a significant increase. This can be seen from the scores obtained by students in cycle I and cycle II when compared to the initial conditions. The class average value in the initial data was 57.30, the first cycle was 67.73, and the second cycle was 75.91. Meanwhile, the percentage of students who achieved KKM scores for the three periods were: 30%, 56.52% and 91.30%. This study concluded that the application of the Example non Example type of cooperative learning model can improve students' abilities in science subjects about the Solar System in Class VI UPT SPF SD Inpres Connect Jawa 3, Mamajang sub-district, Makassar City.
