The results showed that work life balance, workload, and work stress had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. In addition, work life balance and workload also had a significant effect on work stress. Furthermore, work stress was shown to mediate the relationship between work-life balance and performance, as well as between workload and employee performance. These findings confirm that effective management of work-life balance and workload, coupled with control of work stress levels, is a crucial factor in improving banking employee performance.
