Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the recruitment and selection process on employee performance at PT. Bank BNI Makassar Branch Office. In determining the quality of the workforce recruited by the company, a good recruitment and selection process is required. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires to 61 respondents who are employees at Bank BNI Makassar Branch Office. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 27 software. The results of the study indicate that, partially, the recruitment variable has a significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05 and a t-value of 3.299 > t-table 2.001. Similarly, the selection variable also has a partial and significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.010 < 0.05 and a t-value of 2.652 > t-table 2.001. Simultaneously, recruitment and selection significantly influence employee performance with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05 and an F-calculated value of 18.012 > F-table 3.16. The R-Square value indicates a contribution level of 0.383, meaning that 38.3% of the variance in employee performance can be explained by the recruitment and selection process variables.
