Abstract

Student financial literacy can be formed from college students' learning process. This study aims to determine the role of universities in Islamic financial literacy of STAI DU students as seen from personal financial management activities, savings, investment and financing. This research is explanatory research. Explanatory Research is research that explains the relationship between two or more variables. Explain the reason for an event by knowing the "how" and "why". The results of this study will provide a better understanding and provide recommendations for the future. The results of the study stated that basically students already have theoretical knowledge on Islamic finance material, but have not yet reached the point of a high level of literacy. This is due to the lack of practice of Islamic financial transaction activities. For example, students do not have a Sharia account and have never made transactions in the capital market. The recommendation given by the author is the need for technical direction to students to open Islamic bank accounts and investment accounts.
